NDAA / STD

A 3D-printed 7-inch quadcopter with folding arms and a dual EO/thermal payload. The airframe is printed in PA612 CF-nylon and flight autonomy runs on ArduPilot, with full mission autonomy across both build states. One airframe and one ArduPilot configuration span every configuration — standardized mounting points carry any payload built to the mount and power/data bus spec.

Mission Profiles

One Airframe, Many Missions

ISR & Route Overwatch
Persistent intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance over routes and areas of interest.
Perimeter & Site Security
Standing watch over facilities, perimeters, and fixed sites with day/night coverage.
Search & Rescue
Thermal-assisted location of people and heat signatures in low-light and obscured conditions.
Infrastructure Survey
Inspection and survey of infrastructure, utilities, and sites with recorded EO/IR imagery.
Target Location & Hand-off
Locate, mark, and hand off targets to ground stations and integrated C2 systems.
Kinetic-Capable
The standardized payload interface can be adapted for kinetic payloads where the mission requires it.
Build States

Two Configurations, One Platform

The Picket-7 ships in two build states to match your sourcing requirements — without changing the airframe or the flight stack.

P7-NDAA
NDAA §848 Compliant

Compliant build. Avionics, radio, payload, and propulsion are sourced to NDAA §848 requirements — for programs and agencies operating under federal procurement rules.

P7-STD
Standard Build

Standard build using commercial components — shorter lead time and lower unit cost, for operators without §848 sourcing constraints.

One airframe and one ArduPilot configuration across both states. Standardized mounting points carry any payload built to the mount and power/data bus spec — so a build state is a sourcing decision, not a redesign.

The Picket-7 is a 7-inch multipurpose autonomous quadcopter — a 3D-printed airframe with folding arms and a dual EO/thermal payload. The frame is printed in PA612 CF-nylon and flight autonomy runs on ArduPilot, delivering full mission autonomy from takeoff to recovery.

It's built to be one platform across many missions. A single airframe and a single ArduPilot configuration span both build states, and standardized mounting points carry any payload built to the mount and power/data bus spec.

Platform Highlights

  • Dual EO/thermal payload on a two-axis servo-stabilized nose mount
  • PA612 CF-nylon printed frame and arms with folding, thumb-screw hinges
  • Full ArduPilot / ArduCopter mission autonomy
  • 6S Li-ion hot-swap power for fast field turnaround
  • Auxiliary payload bay with tool-free access
  • Available in NDAA §848-compliant (P7-NDAA) and standard (P7-STD) build states

Who This Is For

  • ISR, security, and overwatch operators needing day/night coverage
  • Public safety and search-and-rescue teams needing thermal location
  • Defense and government programs requiring NDAA §848-compliant sourcing
  • Organizations that value field-serviceable, iterate-in-house hardware
